We would like to share some new information with you regarding the current status of JustAC.
We have been informed by OVH that our servers were destroyed in the fire that took place in the OVH SBG2 datacenter a few days ago. The servers destroyed were our main game server, which has been providing steady and continuous service for a very long time, and the backup server that makes automatic backup of player data regularly. As a result, player data has been lost.
We would like to offer our deepest apology to all players. We strive to provide the best experience possible to you, so we trusted and relied on OVH as it is one of the biggest cloud hosting provider in Europe. We are disappointed in OVH's mismanagement and we are working hard to put new measures in place to prevent such terrible dataloss from ever happening again.
In the past 8 years, over 200000 accounts were created on JustAC server. There is no word to describe how grateful we are to this amazing community we've built over the years. Together, our community have overcame so many challenges. We firmly believe that this incident is just another challenge along the way. We, the JustAC team, are grateful for every single one of you, our players. So please rest assured that we are working very hard to bring JustAC back online as soon as possible.
In fact, we have already made some progress towards bringing back the JustAC you know and love. We have just got access to our new servers, and we are working hard setting them up. We are preparing updates that will be used on the new server so that the new server will be better for gameplay than the old one. We believe that while this incident is terrible, it is also a great oppurtunity for us to make JustAC a even better place to play. We plan to release a detailed roadmap for the new server as soon as possible.
